[ she doesn't text him back, but shows up in his casino fifteen minutes later, helmet tucked under an arm. the place is fancy and she feels slightly under dressed in her sweater and skinny jeans, but it was too late to change.
she makes her way towards the back, looking around for izumo or an office he could be in. ]
[ Izumo, obviously is dressed to impress, only he's by one of the bars and when he notices Celty, he signals the other bartenders to work. He's the boss of the place, after all.
He follows Celty to the back, his usual purple glasses off. ]
It'd be funny if the last thing I see before my death is a beautiful woman such as you.
[ the compliment is unexpected (as usual); she did just tell him she was headless back home! it brings an embarrassed smile to her face and her laugh sounds more along the lines of a startled cough.
she shakes her head, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. ]
Thank you. I'm glad to know you aren't... [ scared? apprehensive? upset? ]
Scared? [ He should be. He realizes he's talking to a non-human being, one who can easily kill him even if he has his aura back. But then again, when great big floating swords are the norm in Shizume, he doesn't feel... uncomfortable at all. ]
I've had my share of things a lotta people wouldn't believe. [ he leans on the wall next to her. ] I've learned to expect the unexpected, as the popular saying goes.
So the stories say. How d'you feel right now, though?
[ turning to her and gesturing vaguely to... well, her. and having her head attached. it may sound a bit of an asshole question, but he's genuinely curious. ]
