[ laughter was the last thing she expected.

she isn't sure how to respond when he starts laughing, a little startled as she watches him grip his stomach. is he so scared that he's laughing? has he lost his mind?

so she just watches him, lets him get it out of his system, feeling like she's holding her breath for something. ]
